[BJJ Class Perth Hills ]– Introduction to the Meerkat

For Most of January the L13 Hills team worked on sitting up as a way to escape and to recover your guard in the Wednesday 7 pm class and Thursday 6 pm class. As opposed, to the conventional 101 hip escape/shrimping.

The position can come from a variety of situations, but commonly from a failed elbow push where somebody grabs both legs facing the opposite direction. The position is very upright, tall and proud like a meerkat
